TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Spend an adventurous day exploring two of Puerto’s most incredible natural wonders on this 11-hour day trip to hike in El Yunque rainforest and kayak at the island’s famed Bioluminescent Bay. Start your morning with a hike in the only tropical rainforest in the United States National Forest system, enjoying incredible mountain views and an optional waterfall swim to cool off. Then continue with a nighttime kayaking trip to the magical Laguna Grande, a bay on Puerto Rico’s east coast featuring a unique variety of plankton that glow when the water is touched or moved. Your Puerto Rico outdoor adventure also includes round-trip hotel transport, water, Licensed Tour Guides and Driver.

REQUIREMENTS:

Transportation included only from San Juan, Isla Verde and other nearby places.

Children must be 7 years or older.

Participants with 18 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

No singles kayaks available. If a group is an odd number, the single participant will be riding with another single from another group.

Minors are not allowed to ride with participants from other group(s) and/or with the tour guide. All minors must be riding with an adult from their same group and in the same kayak.

For the Bio Bay Kayak tour, the maximum of 225 lbs per person (Not combined).

All participants must be in good (average) physical condition and physically capable of:
-
walking thru steep, rocky, muddy trails for long periods, and have balance to walk by uneven surfaces.

paddling to the lagoon 1.5 mile each way. "Towing" is not allowed.

No flip flops or open toe shoes allowed.

Pregnant women cannot participate in this activity.

NOT SUITABLE for people with previous injuries, back or knee problems or recent surgery, afraid of altitudes, other serious medical conditions.

Legally blind or deaf persons are not able to participate due to the same. A Private tour would be the most appropriate option on these cases.
